Note:  When replacing the motor, it it necessary to remove one of the motor-plate guide bars.  On later models, these guides, plus the toggle-clamp mounting block, are held in alignment by roll pins installed at the factory.   These pins serve to maintain correct side play of the motor plate.  On older models that do not have these roll pins, we recommend installing them whenever the motor-plate guide bars are removed.   First align the guide with the motor plate, using hand pressure only, and tighten the 1/4 x 20 screws (3 per guide bar).   Check to see that the release is free to travel with minimum-to-zero side play of the motor plate.  Then drill and install 3/16" x 1/2" long roll pins at each end of the guide bars, plus one in the top center of the toggle-clamp mounting block.
